About
A strengthening workout for active moms-to-be, best suited for the first and second trimesters, with modifications shown along the way for the third trimester. This is the most intense session in the series: 30 minutes focused on the glutes, hip stability, back, and deep core—everything that supports your posture as your bump grows.
We start with deep core and scapular activation before moving into the main workout using a mini band: squats, hip hinges, monster walks, clamshells, glute bridges, bird dogs, and rows. Every exercise comes with a clear purpose and cues on where you should feel the target muscles working.
In pregnancy, strong glutes and stable hips mean less back pain, a more confident gait, and a smoother postpartum recovery. This workout is guided by a mindful movement philosophy: controlled tempo, the conversational test pace, and listening to your body's signals rather than pushing through pain. We wrap up with a relaxing, full-body stretch.
All you need is a mat and a mini band with light to medium resistance.
