How to properly perform a side-to-side walk while kneeling?

The movement is performed by:
- the deltoids

Additionally, the muscles involved are:
- the abdominal muscles, the shoulder girdle (stabilize the body)

Starting position:
Assume a kneeling position with your feet hip-width apart and your hands shoulder-width apart. Place a band over your wrists. Abdominal contraction.

Movement:
Alternately, place your arms out to the sides.

Tip:
Hands in a straight line under your shoulders, knees under your hips. Abdominal contraction. Place a band over your wrists.

You will need an exercise band to perform this exercise.
