About
RELAXATION: STOPPING led by Ewa Chodakowska.
The practice of stopping is designed to remind you that you can stop whatever you are doing. You can surrender to the conscious presence of the moment to experience even more of what you are doing and what is happening. The stopping moment helps you learn how to be present and mindful at all times.
Notice how it feels to stop and become present in the moment. You don't have to go anywhere. You don't have to do anything. You are not in a hurry. Everything is fine. Everything is as it is meant to be. Allow your body to relax, redirect your attention inward. The outside world stays outside. Allow yourself this moment of mindfulness.
PREPARATION: Make sure your space for this meditation is quiet, calm and orderly. You can do this relaxation whenever you feel you need it.
IMAGE: During the relaxation, you can close your eyes or indulge in color therapy are to help give yourself pause.
MUSIC: The gentle, slowly interweaving sounds of music, selected for this practice, complement it.
